Bakers Hole |
Show Bakers Hole on the Map >> Grid Reference: TQ612741 The Bakers Hole site lies within the Dartford Green Belt and is a key Pleistocene site exposing a complex sequence of periglacial and temperate climate deposits, including solifluction, freshwater and possible estuarine deposits. These are associated with the Ebbsfleet valley, and they have yielded mammals, molluscs and two different Palaeolithic industries, namely a well established flake industry and worked bone fragments.
