Dalham Farm |
Show Dalham Farm on the Map >> Grid Reference: TQ778753 Dalham Farm is one of very few undisturbed areas that show mass movement phenomena on low angle, inland slopes of London Clay. It shows failure by successive rotational landslipping on a slope of about 8 deg. The effects are visible as a series of ridges and small scarps crossing the slope. Dalham Farm illustrates what is possibly the lowest angled slope failure in Great Britain. For more information on this SSSI site visit the English Nature website. |
